I.T. Essentials I & II
TCM Academy provides pertinent and current technical training to students who have been enrolled in the I.T. Essentials course.
The I.T. Essentials course offered by the Academy includes hands-on and labs that provide practical experience to prepare students for enterprise networking. Simulation tools are used to assist students in honing their troubleshooting skills. The students will then be placed into the field with an experienced mentor to apply their theoretical training in real-time scenarios.
The course develops various capabilities which includes working knowledge of how computers operate; identification of security threats and vulnerabilities like malware, phishing, spoofing and social engineering; critical thinking and problem solving skills using real equipment, network configuration simulation tool as well as exposure to real networking environments in the field. The abovementioned flavours assists in ensuring students are competent in application of skills and procedures. These procedures include installing, configuring and troubleshooting computers and software.

Networking Skills Course
TCM Academy provides relevant and up to date technical training to students who have been enrolled in the Networking Skills course.
The Networking Skills course offered by the Academy incorporates theoretical aspects and practical application, while providing students with the skills and hands on-experience needed to design, implement, troubleshoot, operate and maintain networks.
Students who attend training at TCM Academy will be placed into the field with an experienced mentor as part of their hands on-experience. Here students will be exposed to the application of their theoretical training in terms of real-case scenarios, preparing them for real networking environments and the associated Networking Skills Certification examination.
The course covers a complete range of networking concepts, comprehensive on-the-job training where students have access to the building blocks of Local and Wide Area Networks (LANs and WANs), such as network security, wireless access points, switches and routers.
